Summary
Our clients were inspired by their Mediterranean-style home and wanted a landscape that felt clean, structured, and full of Mediterranean character.
Their planting palette features a variety of evergreen species like Dwarf Burford Holly, Eagleston Hollies, Oakleaf Hollies, Liriope, and Dwarf Yaupon Hollies to maintain structure and year-round greenery. For texture and contrast, we used Sandy Leaf Fig Ivy as a textured ground cover and Asiatic Jasmine for lush clumps of green.
Oversized planter boxes were added with Agave and Silver Falls Dichondra, complementing the home’s tones and architectural details.
In the backyard, tree beds are bordered with the same travertine stone used around the pool, tying the entire space together. Trailing lantanas, flowering salvias, roses, and ornamental grasses add color, fragrance, and gentle movement for a timeless, relaxing feel.
